Event Technology We're Excited About This Month
To improve your email marketing efforts
Email marketing solutions company Validity has relaunched Sender Score, an educational resource that offers free tools like list-quality checks, deliverability benchmarking, and an email revenue calculator so senders of all sizes can assess their performance. Email marketers can also use the product to streamline daily workflows through things like a subscriber list analyzer, a subject line previewer, a compliance monitor, and a blocklist remover. The Sender Score platform also offers an email marketing podcast, plus a series of courses that outline best practices. “By adding these new assessments, education, and tools powered by Validity’s patented technology, our aim is to redefine the scope and impact of deliverability in the life of the modern email marketer and make the goal of leveling up email programs more achievable—whether you are a solo sender or part of a large email marketing team,” explained Validity's senior vice president Greg Kimball.

For venues to streamline lead collection and event management
Hotel sales and catering management platform Tripleseat has partnered with event tech provider Cvent on a new integration that aims to unify and automate the event inquiry and management process for venues. Here’s how it works: The integration will link Tripleseat's platform with the Cvent Supplier Network, and when event planners use Cvent to submit a request for proposal to multiple venues, they will automatically be added to those venues' Tripleseat accounts as new leads. (Venues must be both a Cvent Supplier Network member and a Tripleseat customer to take advantage of this integration.) "This partnership will make it easier for Tripleseat customers to view, organize, and respond to RFPs they have received through the Cvent Supplier Network," said Jim Abramson, vice president of product management at Cvent. "We believe this will help venues prioritize leads, streamline RFP response, and ultimately, win more business."

For efficient pre-event and on-site printing
Global printer company Epson recently introduced its new SureLab D1070 Minilab Photo Printer. Designed specifically for events, retail, and e-commerce applications, the drylab printer is built for high-volume photo and graphic production; it's capable of producing up to 460 4-by-6, 300 5-by-7, and 165 8-by-10 prints per hour. It comes in a sleek, compact design that works with a variety of paper finishes and styles, making it a great choice for photo booths as well as portrait and other event photography.

To help increase registrations for your next event or webinar
Video engagement platform Banzai has launched Boost, a new product that aims to help marketers increase registrations for virtual and live webinars and events. The easy-to-use tool lets marketers create social-sharing campaigns that help turn existing registrations into promoters and brand ambassadors by letting them earn rewards and gifts in exchange for sharing registration info. It’s an add-on to Banzai’s existing engagement marketing platform, Demio, which creates live and automated, no-download video marketing content such as webinars and virtual events. “Boost makes it easier for our customers to promote and host events all in one platform while simultaneously expanding their audience,” said Joe Davy, CEO of Banzai.

To simplify business travel booking
Whimstay is a new travel app specially designed for business meetings. It lets employees easily search and compare a wide range of rental options and make a reservation; the platform also includes convenient features like split payments and the ability to book rooms on behalf of colleagues. Whimstay claims its nightly rates are up to 60% less expensive than competitors. The start-up, which debuted in 2022, appointed Vrbo veteran David Weiss as CEO in January 2023 and recently announced an integration into Google's travel search function.
